The sleddog sport knows a few different types, like:
-The Nome style
-De Scandinavian style
-The Ski-joring class

The Nome Style
The dogs run in pares of two in front of the sled, and the musher stands on the runner of it. In Europe there are the next classes: C-class, 2 - 4 dogs
B-class, 4 - 6 dogs
A-class, 6 t/m 8 dogs
O-class, (open) 8 dogs and up.

The Scandinavian Style
The dogs are pulling a Pulka (a small sled ), and the musher, follows on langlauf ski's, an is attached to the pulka with a flexible line.

The Ski-joring class
This one is very similar to the Scandinavian type only without the pulka. This type is very popular on this moment in Europe as well to the professional as the beginning mushers, and is also very popular to people hew can't keep many dogs, but still want to be active in the sport.
