The SSC-NL
The Sleddog Sport Club Netherlands was formed 1988 and is connected to the European Sleddog Racing Association (ESDRA), this is the European overhead board, the International Federation of Sleddog Sports (IFSS), and the Dutch overhead board, the Bond van Nederlandse Sledehonden-Sportorganisaties (BNSS).
Because of the IFSS-membership the SSC-NL is also a member of the worldsportboard, the GAISF (General Association of International Sport Federation).
The base rule of the SSC-NL is to promote the sport in all meanings of the word. This means, that all breeds of sleddogs may be used for the sport, UNLESS the dogs are PHYSICALLY and MENTAL capable.
